Hi! My name is Bella. I am the creator of this site. I am using this site for digital studies class. I thought I would spend some time introducing myself and my service dog Lani here.
I have a bunch of hobbies including plant care/addiction, aquarium keeping and training my dog. I have a couple huge Monstera plants, a Pothos with lots of vines, and several different orchid plants. As far as my aquariums go I have a fifteen gallon betta tank and a fifty gallons freshwater community tank with angelfish. I trained my service dog mostly with the help of YouTube but I take her to a professional trainer in Chantilly on occasion to see what we need to work on.
Lani is a golden retriever who is a little over a year old. She helps me with PTSD and Schizoaffective (Bipolar 1 type) disorder. She has been an absolute life saver now that she’s mostly trained up. She does medicine retrievals, blocking in crowds, alerts to elevated heart rate, interrupts panic attacks and nervous behaviors, I could go on! She attends class in person at UMW with me a couple times a week. In our spare time we do trick training and lots of fetch games which are her favorite.
